I recently contracted Custom Cabinet Refinishers to refinish our kitchen and laundry cabinet doors. I couldn’t be more pleased with their service. Dan and his associate Vic were a pleasure to deal with. They are very experienced with refinishing and I was confident all along the job would come out beautifully. Initially Dan came to my house and provided a comprehensive estimate for refinishing the cabinets, 24 doors and the crown molding. However, since my project started during Covid 19, in order to avoid having folks come to our house - I decided to do the cabinet box frame refinishing myself. Dan provided a ton of excellent advice on how to do the sanding and apply the sanding sealer and final coating. He even provided me with the coating materials! Should you need to go to their shop, it is conveniently located right off the highway in Passaic. It’s always a pleasure working with craftspeople that exceed your expectations. I refinished my large kitchen in the spring of 2019. Dan and Victor were really outstanding. They are true craftsmen, and Dan gave me many suggestions which improved the flow of my kitchen which went above and beyond what he needed to do. In addition they were punctual, very clean and stayed completely on schedule and in budget. Their work was outstanding and they were a pleasure to deal with. I highly highly recommend them.

We had our oak cabinets refinished and are so happy with them. It was a pleasure to work with Dan and his employees, Victor and Kenneth. Dan was punctual and efficient. The meetings at our house were informative and helpful.He gave us great advice. He would not settle on the color until we were satisfied. The job was completed quickly and with a minimum of disturbance to our household. When we ran into some minor problems, ( not their fault) Dan and his crew came right away and helped us fix them. We can’t praise them enough and would highly recommend them. Fantastic work and much less expensive than a whole new kitchen!!

Every detail of the kitchen cabinet refinishing was handled personally by the owner, Dan. He faced challenges with the my kitchen that I would never even have thought of, ensuring the replacement hinges fit perfectly. He also arranged to have a matching cabinet built and worked with the cabinet maker to ensure the new matched the old. They are neat, well organized, personable and most of all, a pleasure to work with. I am unsure why there was one negative review, that person must be confused with another company. If you are thinking about having your cabinets refinished, this is the 'guy' to call. Thank you Dan and crew for a great job, completed on time, per the original estimate. Dear potential customer, if you see a negative review from a Gordon Herm please disregard. I do not know who this is and I have never had any dealing with this person. My customers tell me it may be a competitor posting what i consider slander. Hopefully google will remove this. As you can clearly see it is not consistent with other reviews. I have noticed he put similar false reviews on other business sites as well. I have no fear that this will adversely affect my business as we have built an honest and trustworthy reputation over the last 20 years. When Dan came over to give us an estimate to refinish our kitchen cabinets, my husband and my impression of him was that Dan was honest, fair, skilled, and knowledgeable. We hired him and found that impression to be very true - we cannot say enough good things about Custom Cabinet Refinishing. Their work was meticulous and the kitchen each day was left immaculate. We are thrilled with the results. Our 20 year old maple cabinets were painted white and the kitchen looks beautiful - the cabinets are stunning and look brand new. The price we were quoted was the price we paid. We loved the work so much that we also had them refinish the bathroom cabinets and have asked them to refinish our front door. To bad they only allow you to give 5 stars.Dan the owner Custom Cabinet Refinishing and his worker Victor were fantastic. When I remodeled my kitchen back in 2001, the person that put in my cabinets, which at that time I wanted the white pickled look, did not tell me how difficult it would be to clean and wash them. Custom Cabinet Refinishing took what I thought were disgusting cabinets and made them look like they just came out of showroom. They also were the neatest workers anyone could have asked for. There was very little dust residue from them sanding the frame. And when they came back with the doors and front of the drawers they took the time to put them on and line them up perfectly. The finishing touch was when the owner Dan went to every cabinet and polished them. He then called me in to look them over to make sure they were to my satisfaction.I could have cried they were so beautiful and I had a brand new kitchen. Finally, I would say that if anyone is looking for a miracle in their kitchen call Custom Cabinet Refinishing I promise you this, You Will Not Be Sorry.

This was our THIRD project using Dan and Custom Cabinet Refinishing. After refinishing a dining set making it look like new and finishing an unpainted cabinet bought well after our other cabinets and matching it perfectly, we contracted Dan to refinish all of our kitchen cabinets. The result is excellent. Our kitchen looks beautiful and updated. The work was done within the time frame agreed upon, at the price agreed upon, and with the outcome we had hoped for. The project was carried out neatly and with a minimum of hassle. For anyone considering using Dan and Custom Cabinet Refinishing, we highly recommend that you do so.
